The Melbourne Causeway connects Indialantic to Melbourne, across the Indian River Lagoon, where residents can find a bounty of delicious waterfront restaurants, commercial shopping, and dynamic arts and culture.

Greater Indialantic, located just outside of the boundaries of the town, represents a parallel development of suburban beach homes. Although not located in town, there are a surplus of neighborhoods just outside Indialantic's 1 square mile radius that present the perfect family-friendly backdrop, ranging from all price points.

These residential communities include Canova Beach, Cloisters, Coventry, Highland Groves, Indialantic Heights, North Atlantic by the Sea, Ocean Park, Oceanside Village, Palm Colony, Puesta del Sol, Rio Linda, Rio Villa, River Shores, and Riviera. However, the most luxurious area in Indialantic is located on Riverside Drive. Undeniably, the most desirable strip of real estate in all of Brevard County, Riverside Drive showcases a necklace of 1-acre homes that make for the quintessential maritime lifestyle. Extending from Eau Gallie Causeway to Ocean Avenue, this pristine area is known for its deep-water canals and private dockage that continue to attract avid boat lovers from across the state. There are a few neighborhoods west of Riverside Drive that offer similar amenities on the water.

A blissful destination for those looking to sow down new seeds and invest in a beachside sanctuary, Indialantic is home to spectacular scenery that's filled with deep blue waters, idyllic beach fronts, superb snorkeling, and a tranquil boardwalk known as Indialantic Boardwalk and Park. Spanning approximately 5 blocks, this sheltered boardwalk is the postcard-perfect area to take a break from the rays and grab a cup of locally curated brew from Java Surf. A favorite amongst residents, this retro coffee shop has everything from smoothies to exotic teas and healthy homemade wraps, while dressed in wildly groovy surf gear fit with a tropical flair. But what lends pride of place to this aquatic playground is The Original Bizzarro Famous NY Pizza. After ripping the waves, this traditional New York style pizza joint is the ideal hot spot to grab a slice of marinara pizza (gluten-free available) or a cold deli sub and then head back to the surf. Moos Soft Serve, a beachside ice cream stand anchored in Indialantic, is also favored by local beachgoers and families, coveted for their hand-scooped ice cream cones and hot dogs after a long afternoon on the sand.

A family-oriented neighborhood, award-winning private and public schools are nearby, including Indialantic Elementary School, Herbert C. Hoover Middle School, Holy Name of Jesus School, and Under the Son-St. Marks Pre-School. Melbourne International Airport is in proximity, located 6 miles away. Orlando is positioned just over 1 hour by car, with Miami 3 hours away.
